Mortal Kombat [PS Vita] Gameplay Video + Information

The PlayStation.Blog has posted more details on Mortal Kombat for PlayStation Vita.

As previously reported, Mortal Kombat on Vita includes identical content from its console counterpart on the PlayStation 3; all modes, characters, and DLC is included on the Vita version.

The Vita version also supports online play, and makes use of the Vita’s features, such as its touch screen, motion controls, and Trophy support. Exclusive to the Vita version is the Challenge Tower II, which includes 150 additional challenges and includes missions involving the game’s previously DLC characters Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain, and Freddy Kreuger. And, just revealed, the Vita version will include 15 additional, exclusive costumes. There’s also two mini-games in the form of Test Your Balance, and a second, yet-to-be-revealed one.

Mortal Kombat on the PlayStation Vita looks to be every bit as impressive as its console counterpart. These extra additions make it worthwhile for fans to purchase, even if they own the console version already. Mortal Kombat is due out for the Vita in Spring 2012.
