Project X Zone Revealed, Official Site Opens
The official web site of Project X Zone, the simulation RPG crossover title for the Nintendo 3DS that features characters from Capcom, Namco Bandai, and Sega, has opened up for viewing, and you can check it out here. The site features some information and a sample of the game’s music – and it sounds great. The title was revealed in Japan’s Famitsu magazine; the publication’s site features screenshots and information.
The game features characters from all three publishers, which includes:
[Capcom] Ryu/Ken Masters (Street Fighter), Chris Redfield/Jill Valentine (Resident Evil), X/Zero (Mega Man X)
[Namco Bandai] Jin Kazama/Ling Xiaoyu (Tekken), KOS-MOS/T-elos (Xenosaga), Yuri Lowell/Estelle Heurassein (Tales of Vesperia)
[Sega] Akira Yuki/Pai Chan (Virtua Fighter), Kurt Irving/Riela Marcellis (Valkyria Chronicles), Shinguji Sakura/Ogami Ichiro (Sakura Wars)
Project X Zone is due out in Japan later this year. There is no word yet on a release of the game outside of Japan. Crossover titles are a toss-up in terms of Western releases; while titles such as Street Fighter X Tekken and Cross Edge have made there way to North America and Europe, others such as Namco X Capcom and Jump Ultimate Stars have stayed in Japan, mainly due to licensing/publishing issues.
Would you be interested in Project X Zone if it was released outside of Japan?
