Yes, I’m coming back to Sonic the Hedgehog 4, but this time, it’s not just one episode. No, for this playthrough, I’ll be playing through every Episode (including Episode Metal) in order. The saga got its start back in 2010, and is supposedly a return to classic Sonic gameplay. Unfortunately, as I mentioned in my Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II review, the games aren’t exactly up to par as the Genesis games, but they’re still fun to play.
Obviously, I start the playthrough off with Episode I, and even when I get to Epsiode II, which features co-op, I’ll still be playing solo. If you’d like to see a co-op playthrough of the game, you can check out the playlist on The GamersBench Youtube page here. Below I have part one of my playthrough, take a look!
For more on this playthrough, you can check out the playlist here. Also, as a heads up, this and the next playthrough will be in the same recording format as my previous playthroughs since they were recorded over a month ago. I’m saying this because I uploaded a test video not too long ago, which can be watched here, and I’d like to avoid confusion. Anyway, enjoy the playthrough!
