Playthrough: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time
System(s): Wii, DS
Release Date: March 24, 2009
Longtime viewers of my YouTube channel may recall that I uploaded a few videos from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time around the time of its original release, but it was never finished. The recording quality was also poor, so it ended up being deleted from YouTube. Fast forward over three years later, and it’s back, albeit with much better quality.
It’s noteworthy that this is the second attempt to record this game. It was previously recorded in its entirety over the summer. However, some important files were lost, so this had to be completely re-recorded. It was a big setback, but we got through it.
Launched in 2009, Echoes of Time is the third game released in the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles spin-off series. Available for the Wii and DS, it features cross-platform online play between the two. However, the online play can be extremely laggy, so some sections prove to be more difficult than the should be.
The Wii version of the game is actually split into two screens. However, the second screen doesn’t serve much of a purpose. It’s used for spells and a map, but you can just pick spells from the Wii Remote, and the map isn’t really necessary. I cropped the rest of the screen out, as it would be very cluttered otherwise.
The first episode of the playthrough can be seen below!
