Regarded as one of the best games in the franchise, Sonic Adventure is the hedgehog’s first 3D adventure (though not his first game in 3D). The game not only implemented high-speed platforming into the third dimension, but also new gameplay styles such as treasure hunting, shooting, and even fishing. Though the game hasn’t aged as well as most would hope, it’s still a fun game that any fan of the platformer genre should try.

Sonic Adventure DX: Director’s Cut, which is what I’ll be uploading, is an expanded port of the original Dreamcast title, with more missions, updated visuals, and even an extra playable character. I’ll be showing off each playable character, which spans over six different stories, along with a final story afterwards. As far as the extra content, I’d like to show everything off during a stream once the playthrough is completely uploaded. Below I have part one of my playthrough, featuring Sonic the Hedgehog and the beginning of his story.

This playthrough, along with everything else that’s uploaded on my channel from this point forward, will be in a new recording format. There are a couple of hiccups here and there, but for the most part, this method works out just fine. For more on this game, you can check out the playlist here. Also, a new feature that allows me to customize my video thumbnails became available to me some time ago, so I decide to have some fun with that feature for this playthrough. I hope everyone enjoys!
