The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons Heading to 3DS Virtual Console

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages & Oracle of Seasons

Earlier today, Nintendo of Japan held a Nintendo Direct conference, where it was confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons are heading to the 3DS Virtual Console in Japan. It was recently confirmed by series producer Eiji Aonuma via the The Legend of Zelda Miiverse Community on Wii U that the two titles are also heading to territories outside of Japan as well.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons were originally released on the Game Boy Color. Developed by Flagship, a subsidiary of Capcom, the two companion titles could exchange information with one another via passwords or the Game Boy Game Link Cable.

As someone who’s unfortunately never played either title, I’m looking forward to checking out both of these once they make their way to the North American 3DS eShop!

Hopefully the password system is still in place. Maybe a few extras or like $5 for both.

Sweet! I liked these titles, and beat Ages on my Gameboy Advance. I still own both but I have no way of playing them,so getting them for the 3DS would be nice.
