One thing about the Kingdom Hearts series is that Square Enix tends to release definitive versions of these titles in order to not only fit originally planned content into the game, but also add a few new tweaks to keep the game fresh. However, these updated games were exclusive to Japan and many Western gamers were missing out unless they imported a copy…until now.
With Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, players in Western territories finally get a chance to play Kingdom Hearts Final Mix; complete with the content present in the original Final Mix, along with new weapons, more enemies, etc.
For this playthough, I’ll be playing on the newly added Final Mix: Proud Mode, which is the hardest difficulty in this version of the game. Below is part 1 of the playthrough, and as I’ve done in previous projects, there will be no commentary since the game speaks for itself. For more on this game, you can view the parts as they go live.
