Bench Test: NBA Jam: On Fire Edition

NBA Jam: On Fire Edition
Developer(s): EA Canada
Publisher(s): EA Sports
Platform(s): PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE Arcade
Release Date(s): October 4, 2011

In 2010, EA Sports announced a revival of the NBA Jam franchise. The newest version features updated graphics, new game modes, up-to-date rosters, the return of announcer Tim Kitzrow, as well as the crazy, arcade-style gameplay associated with the series. NBA Jam was released in October 2010 initially for the Wii, with a release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 a month later. The latter two versions added online multiplayer support.

The following year, EA Sports released NBA Jam: On Fire Edition, the second post-revival title in the series. Launched this time as a lower-priced downloadable title on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade, On Fire Edition improves the AI and visuals, and updates the roster, while retaining features from the previous version, including the online multiplayer.

In this edition of Bench Test, we’re taking a look at the demo for NBA Jam: On Fire Edition on PlayStation Network!
