Bench Test: Vertical Drop Heroes HD

Vertical Drop Heroes HD is an action/platforming title from Nerdook Productions, and it’s available now on Steam. While several platformers involve moving from the left side of the map to the end goal on the farthest point on the right side, fighting several enemies along the way, Vertical Drop Heroes HD does things a lot differently. As the game’s title implies, you’ll start from the top of the map and work your way down to the bottom.

At the start of the game, you’ll get a choice of three randomly selected characters, each with different skill sets and attributes. You can re-roll the character roster by spending 5 coins. And the levels are randomly generated too, so you’ll never have the same experience each time. You can build up the stats of each character by earning XP in several different ways, and you’ll gain some new attacks along the way too.

Join myself, Duke, James, and Jesus as we take a look at over 20 minutes of Vertical Drop Heroes HD gameplay! Let us know what you think of the game in the comments section! And if you’re interested in checking out the game on Steam, you can do so on its official page!
