Kickstarter – Girls Make Games Presents: The Hole Story

A very interesting project is currently taking funding on Kickstarter. The Hole Story is a game developed by a team of girls that are 10-14 years old, via the Girls Make Games summer camp. Described as “a top-down RPG fantasy adventure,” the game features puzzle-solving, exploration, and interactions with interesting characters. Check out the trailer for the game below!

The game’s Kickstarter campaign launched with a funding goal of $10,000. As of this post, the game has already been funded, with a total of over $24,000 and a little over a day left to go. Since the game has met its funding goal, it is expected to launch later this year on Google Play, PC, Mac, and Linux. It has already met two stretch goals to expand the game’s world, and a third stretch goal is close to being met at $30,000 that would allow for console ports on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, and Ouya platforms.

If you’re interested in helping out the team, feel free to donate to the campaign! Check out the game’s Kickstarter page for more information; there’s also a link to play the game’s prototype right from your browser as well.
