New Nintendo 3DS & New 3DS XL Announced

A brand-new 3DS model was announced today during a Nintendo Direct stream held by Nintendo of Japan. Titled the New 3DS and New 3DS XL (New 3DS LL in Japan), these new models of the 3DS include upgraded hardware to run more powerful games that can’t run on the regular 3DS and 3DS XL. The first game announced for the New 3DS and New 3DS XL is Xenoblade Chronicles. Other features include a second smaller analog on the right side next to the face buttons and built-in ZL & ZR buttons (so essentially a built-in Circle Pad Pro), improved 3D viewing from all angles, faster internet and download speed, the ability to add on faceplates, and built-in support for amiibos.
