PlayStation Experience 2014 – Announcements Summary

The PlayStation Experience is currently underway, and Sony has made several announcements regarding games that will be out in the future for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 3. Below are several of the big announcements at the conference!

The first gameplay trailer of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End made its debut. The game features Nathan Drake, who is back in action after retiring from fortune hunting after the events of Uncharted 3. Check out the gameplay trailer below:

Ultra Street Fighter IV, which is available now for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, is jumping to the new generation, exclusively on the PlayStation 4, this spring. The PS4 version includes all of the costume DLC. But an even bigger announcement is the reveal of Street Fighter V. It will be exclusive console-wise on the PlayStation 4, but there’s also a PC version. Support for cross-platform play between PS4 and PC was also announced. Here’s the debut gameplay trailer of Street Fighter V:

Persona 5, the latest entry in Atlus’s long-running RPG series, will be heading to North America for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 next year, after the release of the game in Japan.

Developer Yacht Club Game announced that their critically-acclaimed retro platformer Shovel Knight is heading to the PS4, PS3, and Vita in 2015! The Sony versions will include cross-save support as well as a new character: Kratos from the God of War series. The Vita version will include back-touch support and the PS4 version allows for streaming via Twitch.TV.

Revealed earlier this year, Resident Evil: Revelations 2, which is set for release on multiple platforms, is also coming to the PS Vita! The game is set to launch on all platforms in early 2015.

Final Fantasy VII is heading to the PS4 this spring! This is a port of the Steam version that was released last year.

Here’s the new trailer for Tearaway: Unfolded on the PS4, from developers Media Molecule. This is an expanded and remastered version of the original version of the game that was released on the Vita:
