Bench Test: Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Episode 1
In 2012, Capcom released Resident Evil: Revelations for the Nintendo 3DS. More akin to its survival-horror roots than much of the more recent Resident Evil titles, which primarily focused on action, Revelations received critical-acclaim. Over a year later, Revelations received a HD port on several platforms, including the Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
Just one month ago, Capcom launched Resident Evil: Revelations 2, skipping Nintendo platforms entirely but also making appearances on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a Vita version on the way as well. Whereas the first Revelations took place between the fourth and fifth Resident Evil games, Revelations 2 takes place between the fifth and sixth games. Claire Redfield once again returns as the primary protagonist, and she’s joined by Moira Burton, the daughter of Barry Burton.
Revelations 2 was released through several “Episodes” via a Season Pass. However, a retail version containing all Episodes was just released on March 20. In this episode of Bench Test, recorded by Duke, we’re taking a look at Episode 1 on the PlayStation 3 version. Check it out below!
