One of our missions here at The Gamer’s Bench is to share our thoughts and opinions with regards to our overall experiences with the games that we play. With our Reviews section of the site, we offer extensive commentary on games, and give helpful criticism, positive and negative, to help our viewers decide whether or not these particular games are worth checking out, or should just be skipped altogether.
On this page, our scoring system is explained in detail! Any scores that fall between two numbers contain some aspects of both:
5: Any games that score a “5” are what we would consider perfect, or damn close to it. If there are any flaws, they are entirely minuscule. These games are absolutely worth checking out and adding to your gaming libraries.
4: Games with a score of “4” are very good. There are some problems that keep it from being absolutely perfect, but the experience is enjoyable for the most part. Worth checking out for most.
3: The games that have a score of “3” are average. These games aren’t that great, but they’re not quite terrible either. If you’re a fan of the series or genre, you may like this game. But it’s likely a game that you could skip.
2: A game with a score of “2” is mostly bad. The redeeming qualities are few and far between, and the experience is going to be largely negative. Most will not like this game.
1: Avoid any games with a score of “1”. These are the worst of the worst. There are no redeeming qualities about these games. Play only if you want to actually try out a game this bad. You have been warned.
